Glued to the boundaries of the land, the exposed concrete volume frees up the entire front of the lot for the apartments. Thus, all units have a social area facing the front, overlooking the street and a large square.
The intimate area, in turn, receives the morning sun and is protected by the excavated land, now covered by vegetation. The large glass panels in all environments ensure the maximum amount of natural light, leaving the apartments adequately lit and ventilated.
The reduced number of units provides residents with greater peace of mind and privacy. On the façade, the alternation between the duplex apartments gives the building a special character, while making each apartment unique.
The metallic brises protect environments from direct sunlight and guarantee safety. In addition, they can be completely retracted, which increases the feeling of freedom and connection with the outside world.
The project's premise is to articulate urban relations, enabling more than a public institution, a public space.
