Located on a lot with three frontages in the traditional Três Figueiras neighborhood of Porto Alegre, this intervention proposes a mixed-use complex.
The development includes sports facilities for the existing Clube Três Figueiras, as well as commercial spaces, institutional areas, and residential units.
The surrounding region is predominantly residential and low-density. The project’s volumetry has been designed to minimize the impact of the building on its surroundings.
The program requirements are distributed along the lot’s perimeter, creating an open public square. This square is situated along the axis of Rua Matias José Bins, perpendicular to the lot, promoting urban integration between the private property and the public realm.
Furthermore, the neighborhood is known for its lush vegetation. The project aims to incorporate this distinctive feature both at ground level and on the terraces generated by the stepped volumetry.
By combining various uses within the same location, the design encourages continuous utilization of space, contributing to a more attractive, walkable, and secure city for its residents.
