The urban project for the planned neighborhood “Eldorado” intends to organize, qualify and build an area of approximately 98 ha located in the municipality of Eldorado do Sul/RS, neighboring Porto Alegre.

It is possible, through density, to concentrate uses, people and services in an area and generate a city that favors the citizen. This project seeks to apply this premise to urbanize an area on the banks of the Jacuí River, while taking advantage of the native vegetation and limiting the irregular use of permanent preservation areas, reducing, as much as possible, the negative impacts on it. Through the correct handling of the environment it is possible to generate well-being and ecological awareness in the user. We propose an open neighborhood integrated into the city, with public and democratic access, which will have green areas, gardens and a marina, thus providing greater interaction with sports, leisure, entertainment and culture in the midst of the surrounding nature.

With an environmentally and socially sustainable character integrated with nature, the Bairro Planejado applies contemporary urban concepts in order to establish relationships between the environment and its users. A sustainable way of life induces quality of life. Sports and physical exercises mix with ecological trails, boat trips become nautical sports and walks are tours. In addition, we aim to enhance the positive impacts of the project and collaborate with the maintenance of the natural environment and the city of Eldorado do Sul.
